New Zealand currently has 9 Clubs that are situated throughout the North Island. Clubs belong to associations that enables them to work together to promote Polocrosse within their region. Twice a year clubs within associations join together to form teams to play at National Events. All New Zealand Polocrosse Clubs welcome new members and hold practice days prior and during the polocrosse season.

  • Kaitieke

Kaitieke Polocrosse Club was the first polocrosse club established in New Zealand. Kaitieke Valley residents, Denys and Ray Gifford, who had played in South Africa, together with Ken Malcolm held a demonstration, following a novelty horse sports event, and the club was formed. Initially, the club held regular family picnic practice days focusing on the large junior population in the district. The club then actively demonstrated and fostered polocrosse throughout the central North Island, resulting in the formation of National Park, Te Maire, Ohura and Waimihia polocrosse clubs. In 2019, Kaitieke Club remains the only active club within the King Country Association.
